Timely availability of improved seeds at affordable prices is critical to improving food security, livelihoods, and climate resilience for smallholder farmers in Africa. It’s work, in part, contributes to the realization of sustainable development goals, including zero hunger, no poverty, and good health. TASAI’s Chief Scientific Advisor, Dr. Mabaya, who is also a Research Professor in the Department of Global Development at Cornell University, USA, will provide highlights/findings of the recent TASAI country studies focusing on research, development, competitiveness, policies, regulations, among others.
